We should not become over confident, prideful or selfish, but be sure to take care of ourselves in partnership with the Lord so that we can fulfill His purpose. If we get in our own way, we cannot fulfill His divine purpose. Remember, the most important relationship you'll ever have is the one with yourself. It is important to love yourself and know that you are amazing just as you are! Embrace it with love, care, and the recognition that you are deserving of all the compassion and happiness life has to offer!

 

Prayer for Loving Oneself


Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your unconditional love for me. Help me to see myself through Your eyes, as a beloved child who is worthy of love and respect. I ask that You fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to love myself as You love me. May I let go of any negative self-talk, self-doubt, or self-hatred, and instead embrace the person you created me to be. I pray for healing from any past hurts or trauma that have caused me to view myself in a negative light. Help me to forgive myself and others, and to move forward in love and compassion. I ask for the strength to set healthy boundaries, to take care of myself physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and to practice self-care without guilt. Thank you for Your never-ending love, and for giving me the ability to love myself and other people. I pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
